03/18/2014 10:15 AMNancy Carlson, 77 of East Haven peacefully passed away March 13, 2014 at home. She was born November 28, 1936 in New Haven to Robert and Amelia (Ross) Lamson. She is preceded in death by parents, husband, George Carlson, son, David Carlson, infant daughter, Leslie Jean Carlson and sister, Loretta Gibbs. Nancy is survived by four children; Steven Carlson (Laurie) of East Haven, Paul Carlson (widow of Michelle) of Durham, Joanne Dostie (Brian) of Branford, Elaine Durso (Vinny) of East Haven, 10 grandchildren and a brother, Rev. Robert Lamson. Nancy had a smile for everyone. She enjoyed family gatherings, spending time outdoors with her pets and watching her favorite football team, the New York Giants. Family will receive friends Monday, March 17, 2014, from 4 - 7 pm at the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday in Clancy Funeral Home at 11:00 am, with burial to follow in East Lawn Cemetery.
