Michael E. 'Mikey' Adinolfi, 40, of North Haven
Michael “Mikey” Eugene Adinolfi, 40, of 89 North Hill Road, North Haven, died Nov. 26 at Yale-New Haven Hospital after fighting a long courageous battle with muscular dystrophy. He was the beloved husband of 14 years to his high school sweetheart, Christine Richards Adinolfi.
Mikey was born in New Haven on Feb. 2, 1973, a beloved son of Michael J. and Mary Ann Provini Adinolfi of North Haven, and was a lifelong town resident.
Mikey was a 1992 graduate of North Haven High School. He worked as a foreman/landscaper for M&J Builders and Twin Maple Farm, both of North Haven. Mikey loved to vacation in Florida, Disney World, and on the Disney Cruise Line. He especially loved cruising on his boat in Long Island Sound, and was a dedicated and diehard New York Yankees and New York Giants Fan.
In addition to his parents, Mikey is also survived by his sisters Michele Adinolfi Lucibello of Northford and Marissa Susan Adinolfi of North Haven; two nieces, Isabella and Adriana Lucibello, and one nephew, Anthony Lucibello, all of Northford; his father-and mother-in-law William and Patricia O’Brien Richards and his brother- and sister-in-law William and Catherine Diana Richards, all of North Haven; and his loving, faithful four legged companion Buddie.
Mikey’s family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, Nov. 29 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Avenue, North Haven. Everyone is invited to go directly to St. Therese Church, 555 Middletown Avenue, North Haven on Saturday, Nov. 30 for a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial will be private.
