05/31/2013 10:45 AMRichard A. “Rick” Della Rocco, 63, of Durham, died on May 28 at Middlesex Hospital. He was born in New Haven on Dec. 18, 1949, son of the late Louis and Marion Della Rocco. Rick had worked as a regional telecommunications executive for Tyco. He was also an avid athlete who enjoyed playing hockey and golf.
He is survived by two children, Diana Della Rocco of Durham and Richard Della Rocco and his wife Joy of North Haven; his sister Lynn Bohan and her husband Rick of Branford; two grandchildren; and his former wife Barbara Perricone Della Rocco.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, May 30, from 9 to 10 a.m., with a funeral service at 10 a.m. at the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St., Branford. Burial will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery, Branford. For directions and online memorial see www.wsclancy.com.
