Christina L. T. Laggis White-Sikes, 28, Suffield


Christina Leah Theana Laggis White-Sikes, 28, of Suffield, died on May 8. She was born in New Haven on June 4, 1984, daughter of John “Jack” Laggis of Branford and Pat DeNicola White-Sikes of Suffield.  Christina was a brilliant, musical, gentle, and compassionate person who touched the hearts of everyone she encountered.  She had been the manager of the Valero Gas Station and Convenience Store on Thompsonville Road/Route 159 in Suffield for the past 10 years.

Christina was the fiancée of Paul Witeck, and an October 2013 wedding was planned.

Besides her parents and fiancé, Christina is survived by her stepbrothers, John Laggis and his wife Angel of Milford and Todd Laggis and his wife Terri of Clinton.  She is also survived by three aunts, Paula DeNicola, Shirley Ann Vanacore, and Mary Ann Renfrew, as well as many loving friends, co-workers, and customers.  She was predeceased by her stepfather David Mark Sikes; her grandparents, Paul Anthony DeNicola, Esther Lee Cavoli DeNicola, and Nicholas and Shirley Laggis; and her uncle Nicholas Laggis.

A mass of Christian burial was held on May 20 at Sacred Heart Church in Suffield. Burial was in West Suffield Cemetery.  The North Haven Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. www.northhavenfuneral.com
