04/22/2013 10:00 AMLucy C. Palange, 97, of East Haven and Waterford, died on April 14. She was the wife of the late Fortunato Palange. Lucy was born in New Haven on March 5, 1916, daughter of the late Alphonse and Alphonsina (Cinque) Casanova.
She is survived by two sons, Angelo Palange of Wallingford and Alphonse Palange and his wife Donna Rae (Staplins) of Waterford; a sister, Alice Gatto and her husband Peter of Branford; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her grandson Christopher Michael Palange and her daughter-in-law Barbara (Mrs. Angelo) Palange.
Her family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 17, until the time of service at 11 a.m. at the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
