03/25/2013 10:00 AMJane Turner French, 78, formerly of Windsor Rd., Hamden, died on March 20. She was the wife of the late Nelson French and daughter of the late Will and Edna Turner. Jane was passionately involved as a volunteer at St. Rita’s Church in Hamden, both as an extraordinary minister of the Eucharist and with the church’s RCIA ministry. Prior to her retirement, Jane was a longtime employee of Press/Cuozzo and Beazley Company Realtors.
She is survived by three loving sons, Paul of Wallingford, Daniel of Hamden, and Stephen of Milford. She is also survived by her much-loved daughters-in-law, Jenni Darius French, Lynn Petrosemolo French, and Cheryl Haynam French, all of Connecticut; four grandchildren, Erin, Connor, Turner, and Hayden French, all of Connecticut; and her sister Ann Turner Browne of Branford.
Friends may visit with her family on Friday, March 22, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Beecher & Bennett Funeral Home, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, and are invited to attend her mass of Christian burial on Saturday, March 23, at 10 a.m., at St. Rita’s Church, 1620 Whitney Ave., Hamden. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hamden.
