Dorothy Turner Doyle, 85, Clinton


Dorothy Turner Doyle, 85, of Clinton, wife of the late John Doyle, died after a courageous battle with Parkinson's disease on March 16 at Middlesex Hospital, with her devoted friend Shirley Korik by her side. She was born in Harvey, Illinois on May 1, 1927, daughter of Allen and Minnie Mae Beuhler Turner. Dorothy was an accomplished musician, playing the violin at numerous concerts in Florida. She had also worked as a CNA for over 20 years and at many nursing homes in Florida. She loved flowers, gardening, and classical music, and she was an avid reader. She will be missed by many.

She is survived by five children, six great grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are private. Memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or to the Hospice of Middletown. The Keenan Funeral Home, North Branford, is in charge of arrangements. Those wishing to send condolences online may do so at www.keenanfuneralhome.com.
