Margaret “Marge” Eimmerman Planz, 74, of North Haven, died peacefully at her home on Jan. 26 with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late William D. Planz, Sr.  Marge was born in New Haven on Nov. 26, 1938, daughter of Margaret Quirk Eimmerman of North Haven and the late Harry Eimmerman. She had been an operating room nurse at Yale-New Haven Hospital, retiring after 25 years. 

Besides her mother, she is survived by two children, Jennifer Planz of North Haven and William D. Planz, Jr. and his wife Carla of Henniker, New Hampshire.  She is also survived by a sister, MaryJane Rudewicz of North Haven; a brother, James Eimmerman and his wife Marie of Hollywood, Florida; and six grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother Harry J., Robert and her sister Patricia N. Eimmerman. 

Family and friends are invited to meet directly at the All Saints Cemetery Office, 700 Middletown Ave., North Haven, on Tuesday, Jan. 29, at 9:45 a.m., and can follow the funeral procession to her graveside for a service at 10 a.m.  There are no visiting hours.  The North Haven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
