01/25/2013 10:00 AMJ. Hubert Robichaud, 90, of Masonic Ave., Wallingford, died on Jan. 16 at the Masonic Health Care Center. He was the husband of the late Mary Anna Trahan Robichaud. Hubert was born in Meteghan, Nova Scotia, Canada, on June 10, 1922, son of the late Basil and Emilie Gaudette Robichaud. He had served in Europe during World War II with the Royal Canadian Airforce and moved to the United States in 1957. He retired from Tilcon Tomasso in 1986.
He is survived by his children, Helen Hall of Milford, Roland Robichaud of Northford, Paulette Sauska of New Orleans, Louisiana, Edward Robichaud and Brian Robichaud, both of West Haven, and Michelle Robichaud-Letcher of Sudbury, Massachusetts. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and three brothers. He was predeceased by his son Guy Robichaud; his granddaughter Leah Hall; and by seven siblings.
His funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., North Haven, on Saturday, Jan. 19, at 9 a.m., for a mass of Christian burial at St. Barnabas Church at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
