Italia Mautone Baldino, 83, of Prospect Place Ext., East Haven, died at her home on Dec. 12, 2012, surrounded by her family.  She was the beloved wife of 63 years to Salvatore Baldino.  Italia was born in Salerno, Italy, on June 29, 1929, daughter of the late Giovonni and Anna Pappalardo Mautone.  She had worked as a sales associate for the T.J. Maxx Store in East Haven for 10 years until retiring in 1995. 

Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, John Baldino and his wife Deborah of Guilford and Angelo Baldino of East Haven. She is also survived by four brothers and two sisters, all whom live in Italy, as well as a grandson and two granddaughters.   She was predeceased by a brother and three sisters. 

A mass was celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Church.  Burial was in East Lawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.  The East Haven Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
