Marion A. Clancy, Chester, formerly of Madison


Marion A. Clancy, of Madison, died on Dec. 19 at Aaron Manor in Chester.  She was the beloved wife of 64 years to the late Charles “Chuck” Clancy.  Marion and Chuck’s lives were synonymous with friends, family, and laughter.  They were both members of the Clinton Country Club, where Marion was president of the Ladies 9-Hole Group, and they also enjoyed wintering in their Cape Coral, Florida home for many years.

Marion is survived by her five children and their spouses, Dennis and Bonita Clancy of Harlingen, Texas, Robert and Judy Clancy of Moline, Illinois, Diane and David Kukta of Chester, Colleen and John Ferguson of Silver Springs, Maryland, and Thomas and Denise Clancy of Madison.  She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be Thursday, Dec. 27, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Swan Funeral Home, 825 Boston Post Rd., Madison.  A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 28, at St. Margaret’s Roman Catholic Church in Madison, followed by burial in Resurrection Cemetery, Horse Hill Rd., Westbrook.  Please visit www.swanfuneralhomemadison.com to leave an online tribute or condolence.
