12/18/2012 10:00 AMMarjorie M. Cinicola Minore, 90, of North Haven, died on Dec. 11 along with her beloved daughter and friend, Barbara J. Prato, formerly of East Haven. She was the wife of the late Joseph J. Minore. Mrs. Minore was born in New Haven on Nov. 18, 1922, daughter of the late Anthony and Philomena Cinicola. She had worked for the North Haven Board of Education as a cafeteria worker.
Mrs. Minore enjoyed doing puzzles, cooking, and feeding her beloved family and friends. In addition, she loved the beach, its sea glass and shells, and she enjoyed watching her grandchildren’s sporting events.
She is survived by two sons Joseph Minore and his wife Sandra of Cape Coral, Florida, Mark Minore and his wife Wendy Darling of Branford; her son-in-law, John A. Prato of East Haven; and seven grandchildren, Stephen Minore and his wife Barbara Murch, Lisa Lee and her husband Scott, David Minore and his wife Heather, Robert Minore,
Christina Minore, Christopher Prato and his wife Jennifer, and Melissa Prato and her partner Janet Madigan. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and daughter, she was predeceased by her siblings, Mary Minore, Minnie Amendola, Annie Hayes, Rose DiGioia, Joanne Cinicola, Alphonse “Duke” Donato, Steve and John Cinicola.
A graveside service was held on Dec. 17 in All Saints Cemetery in North Haven. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 825 Brook St., I-91 Ctr.
