09/19/2012 03:00 PMJudith A. (Tower) Bennatti, 72, of Branford, formerly of North Haven, died Sept. 14 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She was born in New Haven on Oct. 19, 1940, daughter of the late Wesley and Edith (Millest) Tower. Judith was a graduate of North Haven High School and had worked for the North Haven Board of Education and later for Salisbury Motor Company in North Carolina until her retirement. She was also a member of the Eastern Star-Golden Rod Chapter of West Haven.
She is survived by two daughters, Sallie Unger of North Carolina and Susan Galiada of Branford; a brother, James Tower and his wife Lovette of Clinton; and many cousins.
Funeral services, officiated by The Rev. Scott Morrow, will be conducted at the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., North Haven. There are no visiting hours. Burial will follow in Beaverdale Memorial Park. www.northhavenfuneral.com.
