Louise Kilfeather, 83, Hamden, formerly of North Haven


Louise Ragozzino Kilfeather, 83, of Hamden, formerly of Culver Lane, North Haven, died peacefully in her sleep on Aug. 21 at her daughter’s home in Hamden.  She was the wife of the late Francis J. Kilfeather.  Louise was born in New Haven on Nov. 30, 1928, daughter of the late Lawrence and Hilda I. Johnson Ragozzino.  She had worked for the former Sargent’s & Company of New Haven for many years and later for Bigelow Tea of New Haven for two years until her retirement.  www.northhavenfuneral.com

She is survived by two children, Kathleen Manzi and her husband Paul of Hamden and Francis Kilfeather and his wife Andrea of New Haven.  She is also survived by her grandson, Paul Christopher Manzi and his wife Jen; four great-grandchildren, Shaun, Alyssa, Devin, Autumn, and Landon; a sister, Janet Helland of North Haven; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, great-great-nephews; and her grand-dogs, Princess, Heidi, and Tia. She was predeceased by four siblings, Margaret Lutz, Laurie Bailey, Philip Ragozzino, and Hilda Burghoff. 

Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service, officiated by The Rev. Timothy Meehan, at the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., North Haven, on Saturday, Aug. 25, at 11:30 a.m.   Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery. There are no visiting hours.
