08/23/2012 10:00 AMJohn R. Ingraham, 61, of Guilford, died suddenly in Massachusetts on Aug. 20. He was the beloved husband of Lucinda Leslie Ingraham. John was born in Buffalo, New York, on Sept. 14, 1950, son of the late John Duffy Ingraham and Betsy Rollin Ingraham. John had served his country in the U.S. Army Reserves for over 20 years and was honorably discharged from the 405th Combat Support Hospital at the rank of first sergeant. Besides his wife, he is survived by his beloved children, Mathew D. Ingraham of Sandia Park, New Mexico, and Jonathan P. Ingraham and his wife Jessica L. Wilhelm of Pelham, New Hampshire. He is also survived by three sisters, Kathy Gilloran and her husband Tom of Guilford, Marybeth Divver and her husband Mark of Seekonk, Massachusetts, and Patricia Vinsonhaler and her husband Chuck of Mansfield Center; a grandson, Samuel F. Ingraham–Wilhelm; and his loving extended family of nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Friday, Aug. 24, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church St., Guilford. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, Aug. 25, at 10 a.m. at The First Congregational Church, 122 Broad St., Guilford. Burial will be private.
