Theodore Frank Sundberg, 80, of Wallingford, died on Aug. 20 at MidState Medical Center in Meriden.  He was the husband of Flora Gardner Sundberg.  Mr. Sundberg was born in New Haven on Aug. 14, 1932, son of the late Theodore and Elizabeth Frietag Sundberg.  He was a 1950 graduate of Lyman Hall High School and had served his country faithfully in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Mr. Sundberg was a member of VFW Post 8294, the Branford Elks BPOE 1939, the National American Legion, the Moose Lodge in Virginia, and the Corinthian Lodge No. 103 AF&AM of North Haven.  He was also an avid golfer and bowler. 

Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Corine Malack of East Hampton, Theordore F. Sundberg, Jr. of Westfield, Massachusetts, Karen Jurczak of Cool Spring, Pennsylvania, Katrin Wood of East Hampton, and Lisa DeMorro of Moodus; two stepchildren, Bonnie Anderson of Northford and Barry Cavanna of Wooster, Ohio; and a sister, Elizabeth Sundberg of Wallingford. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and the mother of his five children, Constance Sundberg of Middletown.

Family and friends may call at the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., North Haven, on Wednesday, Aug. 22, from 5 to 7 p.m.  Funeral services and burial will take place privately in Northford Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Dr., Wallingford, CT  06492.
