Raymond Catenza, 86, Clinton, formerly of East Haven


Raymond Catenza, 86, of Clinton, formerly of East Haven, died on June 1 at Chesterfields Health Care Center. He was the husband of the late Frances (Miller) Catenza. Mr. Catenza was born in West Haven on Nov. 16, 1925, son of the late Antonio and Maria (Franco) Catenazzo.  He had resided in East Haven prior to moving to Clinton.  Mr. Catenza had been employed by the City of New Haven prior to his retirement.  

He is survived by his granddaughter, Tracey Murphy and her husband Paul; three great-grandchildren, Brianna, Patrick, and Caitlin Murphy; and two sisters, Ann Galla and Delores Testa. He was predeceased by his daughter, Maria Dowd, and six siblings, Luci Santamauro, Phyllis Cafano, Kathleen Tufano, and Dominic, Harry, and Louis Catenza.
