Guilford Police Incident Report for April 9 to 11

The Guilford Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. • A 23 year-old New Haven resident was charged with tampering with a motor vehicle, third-degree larceny and second-degree criminal mischief.

• Fraud, resident reports bank card accessed without authorization.

• Suspicious activity, boards placed against side of building; caller believes youths may be loitering inside; 66 High Street, 5:05 p.m.

• No arrests were made.

• Police responded to a request for a welfare check and located an incident involving minors consuming liquor, 2:52 a.m. Police did not disclose the incident location.

• An incident of criminal mischief to private property was reported on Soundview Road at 10:15 a.m.

• An ATM card found at Branford Wal*Mart was turned in at Guilford Police Headquarters, 400 Church St.

• Police assisted a person at a Willow Road address, 9:27 p.m.

• A group of youths were reported for possible suspicious activity at a Boston Post Road address, 900 block, 10:36 p.m.

• No arrests were made.

• Theft from auto, items taken from unlocked vehicle; incident occurred during the evening of April 7; White Birch Drive.

• An unwanted person was reported at Big Y, 830 Boston Post Road, 11:44 p.m. Police located the woman and warned her not to return to the property or she would face trespassing charges.

• Criminal trespass, dirt bikes on rear of property, Long Hill Road, 1300 block, 3:51 p.m.

• Medical assistance was requested to an unresponsive male fall victim at a Boston Post Road address, 2700 block, 8:42 p.m. The man was located and transported to receive medical care.

• Family dispute, Barnshed Lane, 11:27 p.m.

From April 5 through April 11 Guilford Police Department received 259 calls for service. Police made six arrests, investigated 14 motor vehicle accidents, issued 19 infractions, 31 written warnings and three verbal warnings. Pam Johnson compiles the police incident report.
