Janet P. Harris, 77, of Madison, died on Dec. 27 at the Hospital of St. Raphael. She was the wife of 54 years to James T. Harris. Mrs. Harris was born in Manchester, New Hampshire, on Sept. 3, 1934, daughter of the late Yvonne and Arthur Provost. She resided in Wallingford, Pennsylvania, and Madison and was a member of St. Margaret Church.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Anne K. Matthies, and her sons, J. Matthew Harris and Gregg T. Harris, and seven grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Jennifer L. Harris.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Margaret Church, Madison, on Friday, Dec. 30, at 12:30 p.m. Burial will take place in West Cemetery, Madison.
