Carmela "Millie" Franco

Carmela "Millie" Montalto Franco, 86, of the Twin Maples Health Care Facility and Rest Home, Durham died Dec. 8 at that facility. She was the wife of the late Peter Franco. Born in New Haven on Sept. 24, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Grace Rilo Montalto, the sister of Joseph (Arlene) Montalto of North Ridge, California, and the sister-in-law of Anthony (Phyllis) Franco of Durham. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited go directly to St. Therese Church, 555 Middletown Avenue, North Haven on Saturday at 10 a.m. to attend a mass of Christian burial and are also invited to attend the committal services immediately following at the St. Lawrence Mausoleum, West Haven. There will be no visiting hours.
