Veronica H. Landry, 86, of Guilford, died on Saturday, July 16, 2011. She was the wife of the late Romeo J. Landry. Veronica was born Dec. 18, 1924, in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Stanislaus and Rose Gnida. She was the loving mother of Diana R. Hanbury and her husband James of Saunderstown, RI. Sister of Helen Canavan and Steve Gnida. She is also survived by a grandson, Tyler J. Hanbury. She was predeceased by a sister, Stella Poprochi, and three brothers, Charles, Joseph and John Gnida. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. George Church, 33 Whitfield St., Guilford on Wednesday, July 20 at 11:30am. Burial will be held privately.
