Kenneth C. Argersinger, 67, Deep River
Kenneth C. Argersinger, 67, of Deep River, died peacefully on June 2. He was the beloved husband of 47 years to Mary-Ellen Argersinger. He was born in Gloversville, New York, on Nov. 27, 1943. Following graduation from high school in 1962, he served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Upon completion of his military service, he became a member of the Steam Fitters Local 777 and worked as a welder/steamfitter for the CN Flagg Corporation, retiring from Tucker Mechanical Corporation in 2008.
An active member of the community, he served on the Deep River Board of Parks and Recreation; was a member of the Deep River Fife and Drum Corps; and coached Little League for several years.
Besides his loving wife, he is survived by his son Jeffrey of Deep River and his loving granddaughter Shelby. He is also survived by his faithful companion Niki, a yellow Labrador Retriever. He was predeceased by his son Jason.
All services will be held at the Deep River Congregational Church. Calling hours will be Monday, June 6, from 5 to 8 p.m. A memorial service and the rendering of military honors will take place on Tuesday, June 7, at 11 a.m., followed by a reception at the church.
