Robert Strona, 59, of Orange, beloved husband of Catherine Lawlor Strona, died at home on Feb. 7. He was born in New Haven on Feb. 8, 1951, son of Helen Decko Strona and the late Dominic Strona. Bob was a mechanic for the former Textron Lycoming. He had graduated from Amity Regional High School and the University of New Haven with a degree in criminal justice.

Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by his most cherished daughter Caitlyn, his sister Doreen Mantilia of Clinton, and many loving nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a great-niece and two great-nephews.

A prayer service will be held on Friday, Feb. 11, at 9 a.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford, followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at Holy Infant R.C. Church, 450 Race Brook Rd., Orange. Burial will follow in the Orange Center Cemetery. Friends and family may call on Thursday, Feb. 10, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the funeral home.
