Julia Bianchi Baldoni, 98, Old Saybrook


Julia Bianchi Baldoni, 98, of Old Saybrook, died peacefully at her home on Jan. 13, after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Louis Baldoni, who predeceased her in 1988. She was born in Ivoryton on Jan. 6, 1913, the first born child of Battista and Giovanna Bianchi. She married Louis and moved to Old Saybrook in 1940.  She left behind a lifetime of wonderful memories and a legacy of love for everyone she knew.

She is survived by her loving family, her daughter, Ann Abell and her husband Carl of East Haddam; her son, James Baldoni of Hamden; her sister, Rose Cutone of Deep River; two grandsons, Christopher Baldoni and his wife Nery of Hamden and Matthew Baldoni and his wife Kim of Cheshire; and a granddaughter, Katherine Coppi and her husband Dino of Scottsdale, Arizona.  She is also survived by four great-grandchildren, James and Isabella Baldoni of Hamden, Riley Julia Baldoni of Cheshire, and Dax James Coppi.
