Luann L. (Shaw) Field, 53, of Deep River, died on Dec. 14 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Chuck Field, Sr. Luann was born in Hartford, daughter of late Walter and Bonnie (Pence) Shaw. She had been an assembler for Contel IPC in Westbrook and later for Greenwald Industries in Chester. She loved her job and put 110 percent into everything she did.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her son, Chuck Field, Jr. of Deep River; her sister, Delores Hillhouse of Oklahoma; her brothers, James, Walter, and Lonnie Shaw, all of whom also reside in Oklahoma; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Dec. 21, at the Deep River Baptist Church, 24 River St., Deep River, followed by a funeral service at noon. Burial will be private. The Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, Centerbrook, is in charge of arrangements.
