08/19/2010 12:00 AMDaniel J. Fegan, 75, of Killingworth, died at his home on Aug. 17. He was the beloved husband of Marlene Bendel Fegan. He was born in New Haven on Dec. 4, 1934, son of the late John and Winifred Glynn Fegan. Daniel had been an iron worker with Iron Workers’ Local No. 424 for 37 years until his retirement in 1992.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three children, of whom he was very proud, Daniel Fegan of Beverly Hills, California, Edward Fegan and his wife Mary Jane of Madison, and Timothy Scott Fegan of New Haven. He is also survived by two sisters, Dorothy McCluskey of Oxford and Elizabeth Kruger of Milford, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Winifred Berman and Marie Gilbride.
A funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., North Haven, on Friday, July 20, at 10:30 a.m. Family and friends may call from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. A mass of Christian burial will take place at St. Barnabas Church at 11 a.m., followed by burial in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation, 8330 Ward Pkwy., Suite 510, Kansas City, MO 64114.
