08/06/2010 12:00 AMEdwin Neal Figler, 64, died unexpectedly on July 30 at his home in Madison. He was the son of Ida Figler and the late Samuel Figler of Canton, Ohio. Neal received his BS degree in accounting from Ohio State University and had served many clients over the past 30 years through his Madison business, Connecticut Accounting and Business Systems.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his first wife, Sally Figler of Dayton, Ohio, and their daughters, Tobie Wolfe and her husband Mark of Sunbury, Ohio, and Wendy Burks and her husband Jose of Huntington Park, California; his second wife, Wendy Figler and their daughter, Rebecca Figler, both of Guilford; four grandchildren, Estrella, Julian, and Justin Burks-Parra, all of Huntington Park, California, and Jonathon Wolfe, Sunbury, Ohio; and a fifth grandchild who is expected to be born to his daughter Tobie on Sept. 19. In addition, he is survived by Jo-Ellen Skelly of Canton, Ohio; his brother, Ronald Figler and his wife Marci of Akron, Ohio; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by an infant granddaughter, Angel Wolfe of Sunbury, Ohio.
Private funeral services will be held at the North Lyme Pleasant View Cemetery. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Madison Veterinary Hospital, 1260 Durham Rd., Madison, CT 06443. The Swan Funeral Home of Madison is in charge of arrangements.
