Santa waves to the crowd gathered on the Branford Town Green during the Annual Tree Lighting and Parade on Nov. 30. The parade kicked off at 6:30 p.m. from Branford High School, followed by the tree lighting at 7:15 p.m. The event was hosted by the Branford Department of Parks and Recreation, with attendees encouraged to bring nonperishable food items to benefit the Branford Food Council.
