Press Release from Cindy Golia

On Nov. 16, a few members of the North Haven Garden Club met at Todd’s Pond to decorate the barrels on Maple Avenue. They also decorated the three barrels on Pool Road, three barrels on Shawmut Avenue, and the cement planter at North Haven Parks and Recreation Department. North Haven Garden Club members Cindy Golia, Gerri Giordano, and Cindy Adinolfi had previously met up to sort and bag the decorations for each barrel.

The North Haven Garden Club members who helped to decorate were Golia, Giordano, Adinolfi, Italia Avitable, and Angela Buzzelli. As usual, the barrels look very festive and beautiful. The club would also like to thank Chris Thorpe, an officer and captain in the North Haven Police Department who did an amazing job protecting everyone while they worked in Saturday traffic.
