The Shoreline Arts Alliance is the gracious recipient of a $4,500 grant from the M.J. Petretto Foundation. The grant will further help the alliance’s mission of “Transforming Lives Through the Arts.”
The funds, raised through the annual M. J. Petretto Foundation Golf Classic, are awarded to organizations which support education, health, and quality of life in Connecticut communities. The Shoreline Arts Alliance is honored to be recognized for its contributions throughout the state of Connecticut for the past 44 years.
Through recognition, mentorships, networking opportunities and education, the Shoreline Arts Alliance creates supportive communities in which artists can thrive. These communities are built through professional development, leadership development programs for high school and college students, and arts competitions and exhibitions. Additionally, the alliance offers arts consultancy and membership services which strengthen arts institutions, arts leaders, and individual artists across all creative disciplines.
M.J. Petretto’s generous grant will allow the Shoreline Arts Alliance to continue building these communities which empower artists, offer hope, and create healthier individuals who are participating in worthwhile artistic endeavors while contributing to their communities.
