Contestant Alex Virula, middle, was the first to finish five tacos and was crowned taco eating champion on July 28 at the New England Taco Festival. The annual New England Taco Festival made its return to Guilford Fairgrounds on July 27 and July 28 to packed crowds. The festival featured a children’s play area, mechanical bull, lucha libre wrestling, and food trucks.
