East Haven Police Looking for Help in Identifying Bank Robbery Suspect

The East Haven Police Department (EHPD) is looking for the public’s help in identifying an individual (pictured) who is responsible for robbing the Citizens Bank located at 263 Hemingway Avenue in East Haven at approximately 10:34 a.m. on July 23.
The suspect, described as a stocky white or Hispanic male with a gray beard wearing a baseball cap, a gray and black fleece type jacket (possibly Columbia or North Face), dark-colored pants or sweats (possibly adidas), and light shoes, entered the bank, passed along a note, and implied that he had a weapon. The suspect then fled the bank eastbound on River Street with an undisclosed amount of money. Anyone who recognizes this individual or has him captured on their video surveillance systems is asked to contact the EHPD at 203-468-3820.
There were no reported injuries during this incident.
