Press Release, Town of North Branford

The North Branford Town Council has approved three designs from which the public can choose and vote for the official flag of the Town of North Branford. The three designs each have the approved town emblem in the center, one with a purple background, one with a blue background, and one with a red, white, and blue background.

The three flags will be on display this year during the town’s annual Potato and Corn Festival this year, Friday, Aug. 2, Saturday, Aug. 3, and Sunday, Aug. 4 at 290 Forest Road, Northford. Visitors will be able to view the three flag options and vote electronically on their mobile device for the flag of their choosing. The results of the vote will be provided to the Town Council at its August 20 meeting.

The winning flag design will be used as the official flag for the Town of North Branford and will be flown at town facilities. Following the selection of the flag, a durable outdoor 5x7 nylon version of the chosen flag will be made available to residents for purchase and display at home to show their community pride.

Be sure to check out the flag choices while at the PoCo Festival this year and cast your vote!
