Branford Registrars offer July 26 Voter Registration Hours

In addition to its regular Tuesday and Thursday hours, the Branford Registrars of Voters office will be open on Friday, July 26, from noon to 2 p.m. for voter registration in advance of the upcoming US Senate Republican Primary on Tuesday, Aug. 13. The office is located at 40 Kirkham Street.

There will be a Republican Primary on Tuesday, Aug. 13 for US Senator between Matt Corey and Geri Smith. The winner of this primary will run against Chris Murphy in the November 5, 2024 Presidential election.

Early voting will be available at the Joe Trapasso Community House, 46 Church Street Monday, Aug. 5 through Sunday Aug.11 during the following hours: Monday, Aug. 5, Wednesday, Aug. 7, Friday Aug. 9 and Sunday, Aug. 11 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Tuesday, Aug. 6 and Thursday, Aug. 8, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Polling locations for the Aug. 13 Republican Primary are:

District 1: Joe Trapasso Community House, 46 Church Street.

District 2: The Orchard House, 421 Shore Drive.

District 3: St. Therese Church, 105 Leetes Island Road.

District 4: Branford Fire Dept. Headquarter, 45 North Main Street.

District 5: Indian Neck School, 12 Melrose Avenue.

District 6: Mary T. Murphy School, 14 Brushy Plain Road.

District 7: Walsh Intermediate School, 185 Damascus Road.
