Water (and Ducks) Under the Bridge

Thousands of rubber ducks floated along the Indian River on June 22 as part of the Bare Necessities Ducky Dip for Diapers. Spectators gathered throughout town, including over a bridge on Main Street, to watch as 3,300 entries helped raise over $15,000 for Bare Necessities, which provides diapers and wipes to those in need through its network of local organizations. Netting and volunteers in boats ensured that all dispatched ducks were collected at the end of the event.
