GEA Sponsors Another Successful Readathon for SARAH
The Guilford Education Association’s (GEA) annual Readathon fundraiser for the SARAH Foundation proved a resounding success, with 3rd-grader Ellery Casper Von Pflug raising the most money out of anyone. The Guilford Education Association (GEA) sponsored the annual Readathon for the SARAH Foundation, marking another successful year with Guilford schools raising $24,500. Guilford Lakes Elementary School was the top fundraising school, and Ellery Casper Von Pflug, a 3rd-grade student at the school, was the top individual fund raiser. In recognition of all participating students, Casper Von Pflug presented the GEA’s fundraising check to Ken Alberti, the executive director for the SARAH Foundation.
