Sabrina Lin was awarded second place in the short story category, Lucian DePino was awarded second place for analysis, and Patricia Mone was awarded third place in the humor story category. Additionally, Leah Pinette’s artwork was featured on the program cover.

DePino’s analysis was produced as an essay he wrote in Robert Ford’s Early College Experience (ECE) Time and Place in Literature class.

The stories by Lin and Mone were written in the ECE Creative Writing class taught by Chelsea Dodds. This is the fifth consecutive year NBHS has had a student place in the short story category for the Shoreline English Departments Writing Awards.
