Please welcome another new officer to Branford’s Patrol Division, Officer Trever Mitchell-Carter.
Officer Mitchell-Carter is a graduate of Vinal Technical High school in Middletown, where he focused on Automotive. After high school he joined the Marine Corps. He was promoted to the Rank of Sergeant (E5). Officer Mitchell-Carter spent time on multiple aircraft carriers and traveled to all coasts of the United States.
After his honorable discharge he began working at BMW of Bridgeport as a flat rate Technician. Two years later, he joined the Branford PD and also graduated in the 380th class at POST [Connecticut Police Officer Standards Training].
Officer Mitchel-Carter likes to mountain bike and work on cars. He “...looks forward to a long and extensive career with Branford PD, encouraging a positive impact with the public.”
