The North Haven Garden Club has cared for the Broadway Island for many years. The gardens at Broadway Island are actually the Dolly Chagnon Memorial Garden, which was named for the past club member. Throughout the next few weeks, the contents of the island will be moved over to the Rock Road and Fitch Street Island. The new garden will be located at the top of the island by the rock, directly across the street from the Montowese School kindergarten playground.
At the bottom of the island, the North Haven Garden Club will be installing a new memorial garden, the Jan Tracy Memorial Garden. These two new gardens will brighten up the large island.
