On April 17, a Volunteer Appreciation Dinner was held at the Hospice in Branford. Kimberly Carew, chair of garden (healing) therapy, represented the North Haven Garden Club (NHGC) by attending the event. Barbara Pearce, Hospice president/CEO; and Joan Cullen, director of volunteers; provided a dinner and some words of appreciation, along with a small gift.

The NHGC team provides vases of arranged flowers which are displayed in the lobby monthly and enjoyed by patients in their rooms at the Hospice in Branford. The team also decorates the interior of the building for the holidays each December.
