A portion of Jacob’s Beach is fenced off with construction material and equipment ready to begin an upgrade to the beach’s septic system on April 30. The beach will be closed on Thursday, May 2 with a secondary entrance in use as of May 3 with a large section of the beach blocked. off Pavilions, kayaks, basketball hoops, and the playground will still be available.
