On Sunday April 28, the sixth Tommy Sullivan's 5k Road Race will be held, starting at 9 a.m. from the restaurant's's parking lot 240 North Main Street in Branford. The course is a combination of roads and trails on Chestnut Street and the Supply Pond.
In addition to the 5K race, there will also be a walk. Walkers and dogs encouraged.
All participants are asked to bring a donation of underwear and socks for the Amistad House of New Haven, assisting abused women and children.
Event registration for the run or walk is $25 in advance and $30 on race day. The first 100 pre-registered participants will receive a T-shirt. Advance registration is available online through Friday, April 26, at https://runsignup.com/race/ct/branford/tommysullivans5k
