On April 3, the Supervision District Committee of Regional School District No. 4 approved the appointment of Karen Falvey as supervisor of pupil services, effective Monday, July 1.
Ms. Falvey has 25 years of experience in education as a special education teacher, an assistant principal, and principal, most recently serving as the principal of Smith Elementary School in New Britain for the last nine years.
“Ms. Falvey’s experience supporting children and families, and her knowledge of administrative best practices, will benefit the students of our schools and our entire administrative team,” said Brian J. White, superintendent of schools. “I look forward to the contributions she will make to our programs.”
Regional School District No. 4 serves Chester, Deep River, and Essex.
