The Sunshine Committee of the North Haven Republican Town Committee (NHRTC) continued its program to recognize those departments that work every day to keep us safe. On Feb. 23, members of the NHRTC Sunshine Committee, along with State Representative Dave Yaccarino, former Chief of Police Jim DiCarlo, and Police Commissioners Bob Hannon and Robin Wilson, delivered lunch to members of the North Haven Police Department in appreciation of the valuable contributions they make to the quality of life in the town of North Haven.
The recent recognition of the Police Department is the second such event orchestrated by the NHRTC to show support and gratitude to the town's first responders. In March of 2023, North Haven’s firefighters were honored with a similar event recognizing their service to the community.
“We remain committed to supporting and recognizing our town's public safety departments in their efforts to provide a safe and welcoming environment,” said NHRTC Chair Vin Gallo.
