The Patchwork Project

Guilford High School student Avery Torres places one of her several patches to dry during the Guilford Art Center’s Patchwork Project on Feb. 24. According to the center the project was held to “honor the role that textile and fiber art making has held in community building, storytelling, and preserving traditions throughout history.” The project also coincided with a current exhibition Flora and Fauna by the Studio Art Quilt Associates.
