Essex Ed made the soggy trip down Main St in Essex on Jan. 28, forecasting an early spring. The parade, in its 44th year, featured Ed decorated in flowers for Daffodil Days, which is a celebration of spring showcasing thousands of daffodils across Essex, Centerbrook, and Ivoryton. Essex Ed is held aloft as he is prepared to be placed on the roundabout.
