The Branford Police Department is pleased to welcome its newest officer in Officer Julia Kustra.

Officer Kustra graduated with the 379th basic training session of the Connecticut Police Officer Standards and Training Council.

After nearly six months at the police academy, Kustra is now beginning her 10-week field training program. Her academic background includes a degree in general studies from Gateway Community College.

The Branford Police Department wishes Officer Kustra the best of luck and a safe and rewarding career serving our great town of Branford.
