Information from North Haven Police Department

During the early morning hours of Jan. 14, at approximately 5 a.m., North Haven Police Department (NHPD) officers responded to the Citgo at 490 Washington Avenue for an armed robbery. According to the NHPD, a white or Hispanic male—approximately 5-foot-7, wearing a mask and all-black clothing—entered the store and robbed the attendant at gunpoint. The suspect then fled into a waiting vehicle, possibly a dark Honda sedan, that was parked along the Bradley Street side.
