NMCC to Celebrate Legacy of MLK

North Madison Congregational Church (NMCC), 1271 Durham Road, Madison, will celebrate the life of Rev. Dr. Martin L. King Jr on Sunday, Jan. 14, during worship and brunch beginning at 10 a.m.

Now in its sixth year of celebrating King’s life, NMCC welcomes speaker Marvin Walker, who will reflect on Madison and King’s legacy. Walker, a former Madison ABC Scholar and 2005 Daniel Hand High School graduate, currently co-leads KIPP NYC’s Regional Team as the Director of Mathematics, which oversees the math curriculum development, as well as on-ground execution, across 18 K through 8 schools.
