On November 17, Branford Garden Club members donned their signature green aprons, stepped onto stepladders, and filled baskets with holiday greenery and finery to decorate the lantern baskets along Main Street in Branford’s downtown.
Garden club members put their clippers to work to snip dozens of evergreen boughs and sprigs of holly and winterberries which fill baskets on lamp posts on both sides of downtown Main Street, including those along the Branford green.
The civic beautification project is undertaken annually by the Branford Garden Club.
